I've been to a lot of hotels/motels, and all of them fall short of something. But I discovered motel 6 in port Allen and I have never been so impressed clean rooms clean and secure parking and a very friendly staff always there when you need them. The location is prime, plenty of restaurants within a mile of the place. I have to give them 5 stars because the site doesn't have 6. When visiting Baton Rouge, make sure you Visit Motel 6.

Stopped along my road trip to rest and I was greeted by the staff member politely. The lobby smells amazing as well. My room was clean, the Wi-Fi worked for my toddler to watch his tablet a big plus. Although it’s located right by the highway it’s very quiet. Only thing is the water doesn’t get very hot but everything else was good. I was worried at first but it’s very quiet and no loiterers
