My recent stay was pretty normal and what I expected of the Motel 6 chain as I've stayed at many Motel 6 through the years. It was a little surprising and inconvenient the front desk asked for $100 deposit as I do not carry cash these days. A quick trip to a nearby ATM was needed. Across the street from this accommodation was a large concrete mixing plant with trucks loading and driving throughout the night with loud back-up beepers and loud diesel engine noise.
