Eastlake Suites Hotel & Conference Center By OYO Urbana

My family stayed here for the weekend and it was great. The staff were very nice and helpful. The large pool was right by our room, which our daughter LOVED! There were vending machines with drinks and snacks, a workout room, laundry room, conference rooms, a gaming area for adults, and the breakfast area. If you want breakfast, I’d suggest getting there earlier rather than later! Mostly if you notice you are there on a busier night. Many people showed up to breakfast close to 9am when it ends and found most of the trays to be empty. We had gotten there a little sooner and felt bad about it, but it was close to the end. The building is non-smoking, but I also could lightly smell weed here and there even though signs were posted throughout. Not really an issue for us, but if you are sensitive to that, it could be something to consider. Could also just be the days we were there. The location was fine. Not super close to the “downtown area,” but right off the highway. There is a Cracker Barrel and Steak n’ Shake right next to it as well as a gas station. A four minute drive will bring you to a Domino’s if you’re looking for pizza with a drive up window option! So the other guests we interacted with were friendly and helpful to each other and us. The pool ranges from 3ft to 5ft with stairs leading in on one side and a short ladder on the other. Also, it has the motorized chair to help lower those in need into the water. Overall, we loved our stay and would go again if in the area.

I have stayed here a few times now. Their guest service is outstanding. Always someone friendly and helpful behind the desk. The beds are firm yet comfy. Good water pressure and temperature. Today for breakfast there were many yogurts, cereal, muffins and toast, juice. The coffee is great! What a bonus. It’s away from the congestion of campus. Free parking included. Well worth the price.
